What is Healthy?
As a public health practitioner working in the area of health for about 20 years now, I often get asked the question: “What is healthy?” I’ve been asked countless questions about all the contradictory research, the misleading marketing about food, the myriad supplements available and nutrition in general. I understand the sense of confusion that people feel in trying to figure this all out.
I get that it can be difficult to know what to eat to feel healthy, energized and to avoid those nagging cravings; or how best to maintain a healthy weight and avoid pain and digestive issues. It’s all so confusing…
Thankfully, by combining my training in health sciences and wellness coaching, I’ve come to make sense of the cutting edge research as well as how to take a step-by-step approach to change undesired behaviors into healthy ones. I have found this to be a winning formula for natural weight loss and overall health.

- My work with each client is different. You will have a custom tailored program, just for you, that meets all your health needs…and wants.
- As your coach, I will not tell you what to eat, but together we will explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to strategically use that feedback to create your own self-nourishing style of eating.
- There will be no calorie counting! My methods will soon have you believing that when you take care of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual areas of life, you will find yourself self-balancing and regulating what you eat. You will be in tune with your body, naturally fueling it with fresh, nutritious food that makes you feel fulfilled, vibrant and comfortable in your own skin.
